Our client, a National Facilities Management organisation are currently on the search for a Maintenance Manager based in the North West to oversee the hard service delivery on a portfolio or education and leisure facilities.

The role of the Maintenance Manager is to assume operational responsibility for the provision of all maintenance, commercial and compliance matters within the education contract. This will include, but not be limited to, management and leadership of site personnel; adherence to company and Service User policies in line with ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations. Ensure that all service deliverables are fully compliant with statutory and contractual requirements, meeting expectations and returning value to all stakeholders.

The post holder will manage the maintenance services for the sites. They will be expected to effectively manage site teams in their duties to ensure contractual, statutory and QMS compliance for the services and to ensure that these are delivered within budgetary requirements and with continually improved profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience (3 years) in a similar role and have strong experience in managing a team of engineers and operatives. You will come from a building maintenance background have excellent building information and management systems. Due to the nature of the role you must have knowledge of project and operational management for all associated FM service provisions and possess strong leadership, negotiation and communication skill.

In return our client are offering a salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum alongside other benefits
