The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to assist a fun and vibrant Primary school with competent and experienced Special Needs Support Assistants. The successful candidate will be based within the Key Stage 2 phase, and will be support either a key child or children on a 1:1 basis , ensuring they have the best possible access to learning. Candidates with training and knowledge of assisting learners with Autism are encouraged to apply for the role.

Set in a traditional period school building within a peaceful suburb, the school is two form in size, and was last graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Requirements
To be considered for the Special Needs Support Assistant position, you will:

Have experience of working in Primary or Special Needs schools
Have experience of supporting children within Key Stage on the ASC spectrum
