Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator for a well established Fast growing Commercial company who are looking at expanding their operation. The company is based in the Staines upon -Thames area.
Key Result Area 1: Order processing and progression
Ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled by accurate and timely processing of orders through to the point of invoice.
Key Result Area 2: Coordination of Supply Chain
Ensuring customer demands are met by working with all elements of the supply chain, including production plants, transporters, distribution centres and other logistics providers.
Managing expectations through communication with Network Planning and production sites regarding stock availability, forecasts and shipment details to give accurate information to customers
Key Result Area 3: Resolution of supply problems
Taking ownership of supply problems, providing solutions and alternative ways of meeting customer expectations.
Key Result Area 4: Managing supply chain discrepancies
Resolution of discrepancies between ordered , despatched, delivered and invoiced quantities, issuing credit or debit notes and manage stock returns to warehouse as necessary.
Key Result Area 5: Relationship Management
Building productive and sustainable relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, customers, production sites, and logistics suppliers.
Ensuring all communication demonstrates integrity and respect for others, noting that for many contacts English is not their first language .
Key Result Area 6: Analysis & Reporting
Provide accurate, valid and timely information using relevant IT systems such as SAP, APO, EDI, Excel spreadsheets, the intranet and customer and supplier web portals.
Create, analyse and issue reports such as sales history, problem stocks, contract usage, transport requirements and stock coverage.
Key Result Area 7: Technical knowledge
Generation of forecasts of future demand taking into account past sales history, promotional activity, launches, delists and other information supplied by customers.
Maintaining stock integrity. Receipt into stock of products from plants to storage locations and reconciliation of book stocks in SAP with stock returns from warehouses. Monitoring remaining shelf-life, managing and resolving problem stocks such as damaged, held or slow-moving lines, and issuing instructions for repalletisation or reworking of stock.
