Prospero Teaching are delighted to be working as a recruitment partner for this large primary school in Brighton & Hove, who are recruiting for primary teachers to join them for temporary long term and short term positions.

The Role:

You will be expected to become part of the school's successful cover team, building relationships with pupils and staff on a regular basis when you cover both short and long term absences. The focus is primarily to ensure that your pupils are engaged in their learning and creativity is encouraged, as well as making your classroom bright and open, being a safe space for your pupils to learn. Creative learning is a big focus in this school and you'll be urged to involve your pupils in music and performance.

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Minimum rate of pay - £125 to £140 per day

Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Primary School

You will need to have taught in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
