Hours: 37 hours per week. You will be required to be at work for a total of 1517 hours per year. This will usually be completed on 205 days over a period of 41 weeks based around student term times. Holiday, including entitlement to Bank Holidays and Closure Days, will be taken outside this working time, unless by prior arrangement with your line manager

Salary: In the range of £19,385-£21,428 per annum pro-rata, actual salary in the range of £17,-£18, per annum (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)

The Role:
The Learning Facilitator role is designed to assist all students in development of their digital and academic skills. This is achieved through a variety of different methods including the delivery of Information & Study Skills sessions and conducting one-to-one sessions with students on developing digital, academic and study skills.

The role also involves working closely alongside the Learning Technologist, collaborating and sharing ideas for e-learning with both the College and with outside organisations.

The Successful Candidate:
Your knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • High level of digital skills and ability to apply new learning technologies.
  • Ability to support teaching and learning process by developing academic skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative and highly professional attitude to working in educational environment.
