A local authority are looking for a full time Specialist Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team
They provide a county-wide adult social care service that supports vulnerable people, you will be working as part of a team as the single point of contact for requests for information, advice and services from the public, within the authority and other agencies.
They are looking for suitable candidates with the following attributes:
Experience of working in a customer service environment previously is essential
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different types of people
Be decisive and confident in making independent decisions
Strong IT knowledge and experience of using multiple systems simultaneously
Be comfortable not working by a script, with the ability to think on their feet, and using initiative
Be able to efficiently process information, and document findings succinctly
Be an empathetic and compassionate person
A resilient individual with that ability to remain calm and tactful when dealing with difficult or distressed people
Ability to work independently and use their initiative to respond independently to problems and unexpected situations
Ability to confidently work remotely, especially with technology

Immediate start

37hours per week Monday to Friday

Currently working 09:00 -17:00 from home, however this is subject to change following the Government COVID Roadmap, with the potential to return to working on a rota basis between 08:00 and 17:30 and returning on site in Bedworth

Temp initially until January 2022
