Female Personal Assistant/Buddy required for a young lady living in the Tonyrefail area.

We are seeking a bubbly energetic personal assistant/buddy to support a soon to be eighteen-year-old young lady who is having a gap year from June 2021 prior to planning to attend University.

Ideally, you may be a student too, and able to offer guidance to prepare for University.

She is seeking support into her next phase of her life post sixth form and this is an exciting opportunity to help her independence to progress.

Our client has mild Cerebral Palsy and needs support with her physiotherapy and occupational therapy programme.

She would like assistance and support with volunteering, her social life, interests, part time work, companionship on weekends away/holiday breaks and days out.

The applicant should share some of her interests which are drama, theatre, literature, poetry, play writing, yoga and alternative therapies.

Hours of work are currently three evening a week 6pm - 10pm, these may increase as this is a new position. Applicants must be well organised and flexible to cover day shifts, sleep-in shifts and planned weekends breaks if required.

Rates of pay: £ per hour Monday to Friday, £ per hour Saturday and Sunday. Sleep-in shifts will be paid at a rate of £ per shift Monday to Friday and £ per shift Saturday and Sunday.

Applicants must be prepared to undertake weekly Covid-19 testing.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child/Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential, and the successful applicant must be prepared to drive our client’s vehicle.
