Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanically Biased)

Do you want to join a growing company for a brand-new business venture, that are manufacturing products for the building/housing industry.
They are looking for an aspirational Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanically Biased), to join their brand-new manufacturing facility as they look to commence production later this year.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Setup of new systems to support the maintenance plans and new factory infrastructure
*Creating brand new TPM's, PPM's, SOP's, factory/machinery layout planning & installation of new machinery.
*Support the integration and development of CAD/CAM systems
*Once the factory is up and running, ensure the plant if running efficiently and effectively
*Contribute to continuous improvements & factory process improvements and project work
*Carry out PPM & reactive maintenance of automated production & manufacturing machinery
*Mechanical fault finding, repair, installations, fabrication/fitting, machining & welding
*Working on motors, hydraulics, drives, gearboxes, sensors, PLC's, compressors, pneumatics
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (mechanically biased)
*Attitude & character is everything - want someone that is coming in with an open-mind, working from a blank canvas, bring fresh ideas, willing to learn new things, get stuck in with the team
*Worked in an automated (fast-paced) production/manufacturing environment previously
*Must have knowledge of implementing new TPM's & PPM's
*Flexible with working hours - happy to move to a Monday-Friday Double Days shift pattern in future
*Previous experience of working in projects - process improvements, new machine installations
*Have a proactive / continuous improvement approach to engineering
*Worked on hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems
*Basic machining and welding experience essential
*Ideally be qualified to HNC/HND level in Mechanical Engineering
*Understanding of CAD/CAM systems would be advantageous
*Machine and mechanical installation experience
Shifts & Benefits Package:
*Shift:-Monday-Friday Days - Moving to Double Days Shift Pattern In The Near Future
*Salary:- £40,000 - £45,000
*Benefits:- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Christmas Shutdown, Private Pension
