Permanent (Full time)
Our client is seeking a Sector Marketing Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.
Salary is £45,000. The employer has an agile working policy and they are happy for the candidate to work remotely for part of the week, and from one of their offices (these are based across the UK) 2/3 days each week.
As part of the sales and marketing team the Sector Marketing Manager generates work-winning opportunities through ongoing profile raising and multi-channel campaigns aligned to designated business sector/s nationwide.
Overview of role:
This is a varied role which requires great collaboration as well as facilitation and coordination across all UK offices and awareness of sector capability across their global regions.
You will become immersed in your relevant sector area understanding growth scenarios and trends within the industry. You will be across all PR and Marketing events opportunities relevant to your sector nationwide and manage the firms presence and profile within.
You will work closely with the national Sector Lead to identify prospects and qualify and segment existing clients and their needs, generating relevant campaigns focused on client solutions and generate awareness of a wide range of capabilities.
Supported by the Digital Marketing Manager you will qualify marketing generated leads for the technical teams to convert. The Sector Marketing Manager is responsible for maintaining the quality and relevance of data within the CRM - Microsoft Dynamics.
Identify prospective clients or growth areas in conjunction with sector lead
Set up meetings to further new business opportunities with prospects as appropriate
Maintain accurate and effectively segmented client data within the CRM
Qualify marketing leads within the CRM
Identify sector strengths and success stories in line with 'client-needs' intelligence to deliver solution-focused messages
Deliver key business messages through appropriate channels by target audience as agreed with Brand & Comms team
Inform sector of client intelligence gained through campaigns
Identify suitable Award opportunities and work with Brand & Comms team on submission.
Support the Digital Marketing Manager with social media requirements including website and social media posts.
Support organisation of trade events, conferences and such networking opportunities.
Support bid team as required during bid submission.
Develop sales support collateral, and capability statements within brand guideline templates.
Work with bid team to pre-position the firm ahead of key bidding opportunities
Publish success stories and sector news on Connect for internal awareness and cross-selling opportunities.
Support with production of reports and market dataPerson specification:
Success in this position will require a dynamic individual with high energy and motivation. Critical requirements include experience within the construction industry, a good understanding of lead-generation marketing tactics and audience segmentation.
Bachelors' degree in marketing and / or CIM diploma - or significant relevant experience
InDesign skills and ability to create basic campaign material within brand guidelines
Experience in sales and or marketing and or B2B environment
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail
Good presentation skills
Strong IT skills and familiar with CRM systems
Motivated, proactive, goal orientated
