Product Technical Specialist - Laser Diffraction

Do you enjoy working with UK and International customers, this role has the opportunity for you to travel and provide advanced technical input, technical support and training for the laser diffraction product portfolio. The successful Product Technical Specialist will provide feedback on applications into the laser diffraction program of customer needs and requirements that result from various customer interactions and problems encountered. Product Technical Specialist Experience & Responsibilities:Possess excellent problem solving capabilities, assisting with technical problems/issues and have experience of laser diffraction, particle characterisation and particle sizingA proven ability to coherently write and present scientific papers as well as being able to explain complex subjects into a form acceptable to less skilled people.Develop and provide specialist training, advice and guidance to customers and sales organisations on particle characterisation relating to the best use of laser diffraction productsWork closely with the relevant product managers and territory sales specialists to ensure they are aware of latest applications and product/software capabilities;Work in close liaison with the Applications Supervisor and relevant Applications Specialists to ensure that analysis of laser diffraction samples are carried out in a timely fashion.Have a Post Doctorate with a Chemistry degree and/or demonstrable practical experience in the field of particle characterisation. Experience in laser diffraction and/or image analysis is desirable. Knowledge or experience of any of the following application areas of the particle characterisation market would be an advantage; Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, advanced Materials, Minerals, Metals and Mining. You will require a full UK driving licence for this role.
