We are recruiting a Leadership and Governance Manager to lead a team of experienced administrators at the RSC. This is newly developed role sits within the Leadership and Governance team, providing exceptional administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, RSC Board, Committees, company-wide groups, and partners.
As Leadership and Governance Manager you will enable efficient working, development of best practice and offer consistent support to the team and the organisation more widely. Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the Leadership and Governance team, recruiting and developing team members as necessary
* Assessing the most efficient and effective distribution of workload
* Actively looking for opportunities to make administration across the company more efficient
* Covering for the team and providing specific support for Senior Leadership Team members as necessary
* Ensuring effective communication between the Directors and all departments
To be suitable for this role, you will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have experience coordinating and motivating a team. You will work in a collaborative and supportive way, ensuring that your team works at its best and in line with evolving organisational requirements. You will also:
* Be proactive, with a calm and pragmatic approach to problem solving
* Consistently act with integrity and tact
* Encourage and adapt to new ways of working
This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Working hours are flexible in line with the operational requirements of the team.
The location of the role will be either London or Stratford-upon-Avon. Remote/home working will be required initially. From September onwards we hope to introduce a flexible working environment with a combination of both office and at home working possible.
