The role:

- Salary of £50,000 per annum DOE
- Bonus
- Up to 10% employer contribution towards Aviva's Group Personal Pension Plan
- Working hours: Typically (Apply online only) but flexibility will be required from time to time, particularly when accommodating customer appointments

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll promote the benefits of our insurance services to corporate customers and manage relationships with our existing policy holders, with the aim of growing accounts.

Reporting to the Customer Services Director, you will engage with policy holders to understand their needs and promote policies and services that best meet their requirements.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will contribute and shape the strategy and performance of the business.

Additionally, in this standalone role, you will:

- Identify and approach new prospects
- Negotiate and conclude deals
- Keep an up-to-date sales pipeline to forecast the number of new policy holders
- Support the early development of a digital sales capability

Other organisations may call this role Senior Sales Executive, Senior Sales Representative, BDM, Senior Insurance Sales Rep, Senior Account Manager, Senior Sales Account Manager, or Senior Utility Insurance Advisor.

About you:

At SES Home Services, we recruit based on potential, values and fit, rather than just experience and qualifications. We’re seeking a Business Development Manager with:

- Direct knowledge of increasing sales within an insurance environment and job volumes in the Home Services market
- A full driving licence

Previous experience in the housing association or energy sectors would be desirable.
