Finance & Office Manager - Newquay - £25-30,000

If you're familiar with Cornwall's most popular leisure and tourism attractions, you'll definitely be familiar with this very well-established business based in Newquay. They've been operating for years and attract almost 100,000 visitors each year.

Due to a group restructure, they've tasked us with sourcing a new employee for a pivotal role - Finance and Office Manager. This is a completely multifaceted opportunity which will allow the successful candidate complete responsibility over the organisation's finance and administration function. The role is split between general finance and office management with wide ranging duties to include:

  • Production of management reports

  • Budget analysis and monitoring

  • Bank reconciliations

  • VAT compliance

  • Developing and maintaining supplier agreements

  • Sales and purchase ledgers

  • Managing vehicle and other company assets

  • Dealing with customer queries

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Company Bookkeeper, ideally though not essentially qualified to at least AAT level. What's really important here is a can-do attitude to performing duties outside of general finance.

The role will also require the successful candidate to fulfil duties outside of the main office - often in an interesting a diverse environment. It's a rapidly expanding business with great opportunities for the successful candidate to grow and develop their own department and function.
