We are seeking to appoint a committed and dynamic school administrator to work within a Widnes school office; providing support across all aspects of school administration, including: management of pupil and staff data, orders and payment, diary management, banking, handling calls and meeting and greeting visitors.
Based on the outskirts of Widnes, the high achieving school has a small number of pupils; therefore, creating a closeknit school community and a supportive nature within the school. The school is easily accessible from the motorway and offers free onsite parking, with good public transport links.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Secretarial and administrative experience.
Experience of SIMS (not essential but beneficial)
The ability to prioritise a heavy work load, multiskill and work on their own initiative.
Extensive recent experience in the use of IT.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with external organisations, parents and pupils.
A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this.
Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
Commitment to a possible 3 month assignment.
