My Kidderminster based client are looking to add a talented UX Designer / Front end Web Developer to their team.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a wide range of database driven and fully interactive websites using the very latest web development techniques to produce an unrivalled user experience.

Looking for

If you speak (and write) fluent Responsive Web Design using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery and youre just as comfortable crafting stunning designs in Photoshop then my client would love to meet you. Theyre not just looking for someone who can write CSS but someone who is equally adept at talking with customers and their implementation team to fully understand the user journeys required to help deliver even more award winning sites, so youll need excellent communication and organisation skills. In return they can offer you a real career path in a company that is always looking to the future both of their products and their people.

If you have at least 1 years commercial experience, a passion for developing superb mobile optimised web sites, a keen desire to learn and think you have what it takes then please get in touch

Key responsibilities

  • Working closely with my clients backend developers and project mangers to build attractive career sites right through from initial specification to design and build.
  • Creating low fidelity wireframes based on customer requirements
  • Using your creative flair to build on Initial wireframes and create beautiful website mock ups.
  • Implementing website designs using HTML / CSS and Javascript.

Key Skills

  • Wireframing and Prototyping
  • Graphic design. Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Responsive Web Design HTML5, CSS3 (SASS) & JavaScript (JQuery)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the .NET framework (C )
  • Knowledge MS SQL
  • Knowledge of SEO principles
  • Understanding of web standards and accessibility.
  • Experience using version control (Git).
  • Experience working in an agile environment
