You will be responsible for supporting the team to achieve on-time delivery of mechanical and electronics design changes. Some of the ways wed like you to help us achieve this are:
Helping draftengineering change documentation drawing on the technical knowledge of the team to communicate design changes, and making sure that the proper risk management activities have been completed, such as updating FMEAs.
Liaising withmanufacturingto ensure that changesare properly communicated and that the design transfer process is workingsmoothly.
Liaising withthe quality department to ensure thatthe defined development processes are being followed within the mechanical andelectronic product development teams.
Supporting engineering design reviews and triage meetingsensuring that the reviews are timely, outputs aredocumented and the actions are tracked and followed up.
Helpingmaintain the project plans working with senior engineers to establish a plan and then tracking progress against it.
Supporting submission processes with regulatory bodies when changes are made helping draft supporting documentation and pullingtogether inputs from the engineering teams.
- Improving development processes working withthe engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and helpingput in place better processes

A natural communicator hopefully goes without saying, but in addition wed like you to have:
a love of developing efficient and well-defined processes that help teams run smoothly youll be ruthlessly efficient and eager to remove barriers to getting things done
a drive to get the details right youre probably the sort of person who hates loose ends, documents that arent quite right or actions that havent been followed up
an ability to distil complextechnical information into clear written descriptions
- experience of working closely withengineers and scientists in a product development organisation.
Wed also like you to have at least one of the following:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering or physical sciences
Experience of working in a medicalproduct development environment, and within an ISO13485 quality managementsystem
Experience of ISO 14971 compliantrisk management processes
- Experience of creating, tracking andmaintaining project plans
