Salaried Flight Instructor position with highly competitive rates of pay.
Due to recent expansion and a busy customer-base, Cambridge Aero Club has a primary vacancy for a full time salaried Flight Instructor, as well as further capacity to employ the support of two freelance Flight Instructors.
Successful candidates will be mainly teaching student pilots for PPL qualification, with possible progression to IR(R) or tailwheel & aerobatics training.
- Working in accordance with our ATO manual & company procedures.
- Tutoring members working towards flying qualifications; ground studies and in practical flying training.
- Supporting the Safety Management team from time to time.
- Maintaining a high standard in record keeping.
The salaried position would also offer support to the Safety Manager.
Cambridge Aero Club is a thriving ATO, operating a mixed fleet of exceptionally well equipped Cessna172SPs, Piper Warrior III, Cessna152 and Extra200 from its base at Cambridge Airport.

Due to the nature of our business, all employment is subject to satisfactory references being obtained, attainment of either a SC (Security Check), Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check or Foreign Police Check (whichever is applicable depending on duration of UK residency) and, as applicable, a medical assessment. Access to US technical data by employees requires prior Trade Control function approval. Clearance must be carried out against all applicable US export control authorisations.
