My client, an internationally recognised company who are leaders in their field, is looking to recruit a Systems Accountant to join their busy finance team.
Working across the group, this role will be responsible for the new MS Dynamics 365 Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, including participating in initial implementations and supporting Finance users of the new system.
Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; - Report writing using Crystal Reports, Orbis Task Centre, Access Report Writer, InXL to run from Access Dimensions and Focal Point - Dimensions and Focal Point Patch Testing - Interfacing of Credit Card and weekly Payroll via Focal Point Administrator - Interfacing of weekly Payroll via Microsoft Access and Access Transaction Broker - Interrogating SQL tables underlying Access systems to produce reporting as required - Providing support to users of Dimensions, Focal Point and other Access products - Systems management for Focal Point system via Focal Point Administrator software and for Dimensions - Co-ordinating the development of processes and Access systems configuration between groups of users and Access Consultants - Managing the relationship with the Access Group Account Manager - Participation in the analysis of local financial requirements in new ERP implementations - Supporting local Finance data migration and local user training and testing prior to and post go-live - Providing ongoing support and training to Finance users of the ERP system - Troubleshooting finance systems issues and working with third-party providers to resolve these issues
Experience, knowledge and qualifications required - Experience using the Dimensions/ FocalPoint Finance System developed by Access. - Experience of supporting the implementation and use of the finance aspects of an ERP system - Knowledge of SQL, VBA and Crystal Reports - Ideally working towards an accounting qualification if not already obtained - Advanced Excel user with knowledge of macros - Good understanding of financial reports - Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks - Methodical, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail - Able to communicate effectively and provide good standard of customer service to internal customers Farrer Barnes Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
