The Role:This progressive market intelligence company is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their successful team. Responsible for selling insights and market knowledge to PR agencies, fashion brands, media companies and charities, the Business Development Manager will grow a number of preexisting key accounts, manage their own prospects base as well as research and identify new lead opportunities. The Business Development Manager role is a consultative, slow sales cycle role where the successful candidate will frequently network at industry events and attend client meetings.

As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling online subscriptions based market intelligence to PR agencies, fashion brands, media companies and charities
  • Upsell and crosssell within preexisting accounts
  • Network and identify new client opportunities
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions, as well as ambassador the brand at external events, parties, and launches

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Proven B2B sales experience
  • Consultative approach with experience in PR, marketing, content, or media
  • Bright, enthusiastic, and passionate individual who commands credibility
