Customer Experience Events Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for an Events Coordinator to work for a wellestablished business based in Cheadle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in this area to manage and organise all of the internal and external events for this company and Champion the customer experience. This is a permanent, full time role paying up to GBP25,000pa for the right candidate.

  • About The Role:

  • Actively participate and support all event planning
  • Collaborating with the wider team to create and own the event calendar
  • Diary planning
  • Event preparation
  • Room organisation
  • Organising Catering
  • Furniture organisation
  • Coordination and booking of the cleaning team before and after the events
  • Liaising with reception to book visitors and parking spaces
  • Arranging event branding and installation of banners and posters
  • Arranging event collateral with marketing
  • Key point of contact for all events and related services
  • Consolidate post event feedback, manage follow ups and bring learnings for future events forward
  • Liaising with supply chain team for any bespoke elements required for the event
  • Project manage events from initiation to execution
  • Liaising with the IT team to ensure event space IT equipment is fully functioning including any digital signage hardware
  • Working with the marketing team to manage the email system for invitations
  • Ensuring that events are within budget and planned and tracked accordingly
  • Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills and a cando attitude
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic and willing to take on any challenge
  • Open, clear and confident communicator, both written and oral
  • Able to work both independently and to defined objectives
  • Capable of multitasking whilst maintaining high attention to detail
  • You will be confident, professional and truly committed to being a team player
  • You will have the ability to juggle tasks, prioritise and communicate effectively
  • You will have the ability to learn quickly, act independently and provide accurately what is required
  • You will have excellent IT skills and good knowledge of MS Office Suite with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage projects, events and hospitality programmes, working towards tight deadlines.
  • Work across multiple projects with a flexible attitude and seamless efficiency

  • Salary of GBP22,000 GBP25,000 pa
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am 5.00pm
