Situated less than a mile from Hastings Town Centre and the coast and enjoying easy access to the local amenities and shops Lauriston is a purposebuilt nursing home that provides dedicated care for up to 60 people.
Its single bedrooms all have ensuite facilities, but the home also has a number of wellfurnished communal lounges where people regularly meet up for socialising and group activities allowing you to achieve the mix of privacy and company that suits you best.
Here, landscaped gardens with their pretty flowerbeds and patio, are perfect for relaxing and taking the air, and the hair salon ensures that all residents can be very well turned out. All this combines to offer a welcome sense of community, which complements the professionalism of MHAs highly trained staff.
MHA aims to bring quality and choice to residents daily lives, offering personcentred care in which residents make their own decisions on matters such as choosing a meal or how to pass their time. There is an activity programme that offers everyone the opportunity to socialise if they wish and professional entertainers and music therapists often come by. The nursing home is also well placed for frequent outings to the sea and local attractions, such as Alexandra Park.
We work hard to support older people to live meaningful lives. Our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all at Lauriston, whatever their beliefs. In these and countless other ways, we promote the wellbeing of all our residents, continuously encouraging fulfilling relationships and positive experiences.
Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them seize the day.
