Macildowie is working with a creative and progressive business based in the heart of Nottingham to source a brand new Sales Manager into their growing team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has in depth experience managing Account Managers, Business Development Managers & Sales teams but can also demonstrate a strong ability to think strategically and look at the bigger picture and direction of the team. The business is evolving year on year and are keen to get the right people in place to help navigate the next 5 years and drive them onto bigger and better things, so if you're not a blue sky thinker, then I'm afraid this opportunity isn't for you.
The role is a mixture of Account Management and B2B sales, looking after a huge portfolio of customers in the UK & overseas.
You must have recent experience in software sale, be able to work from the Nottingham office and be willing to travel.
Essential skills required:
Multi-skilled sales manager with a proven track record of driving high levels of activity with sales, within a B2B environment
Complex solutions/Tech/Digital background
Proven success running effective outbound sales campaigns across multiple industry sectors
Highly analytical and data driven being able to understand mechanics of the sales funnel and how to develop sales process and people to achieve desired results
Experience recruiting, training and coaching Account Managers
Proven track record as a successful sales person
An effective hands on manager continually participating in sales calls and providing feedback, coaching and training to improve performance
A thought leader and subject matter expert (from a sales perspective) for the products their team delivers to customers
