We are looking for an experienced teacher to work in a fantastic mainstream primary school in Tameside. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 3 and 11. The schools vision is that Todays generation will make a positive difference to tomorrows world. The school strives to prepare children with the skills, values and attributes needed to succeed and achieve in an unknown future: this extends beyond them reaching high standards of academic and learning skills, to encompass a deep understanding of themselves, each other and their place and part in the world and teaching them to be great people of the future.

The school aims to operate a whole pupil, whole school approach to the management and provision of support for children with SEN. To identify SEN early so that any potential barriers to learning are removed and no time in education lost. To ensure all staff, with the support of the SENCo, make excellent provision for children with SEN within the guidance set out in the SEN Code of Practice.

The school works with many specialists to aid the development and learning of the SEN pupils:
*Health Professionals (GP, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, school nurse, paediatric consultants)
*Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHs)
*Health and Social Care
*Early Help support (to support families)
*Educational Psychologist
*Pupil Support Service (supporting difficulties in social communication, behaviour, specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia)
*Ethnic Minority Achievement Team (EMAT), helping children secure English
*Virtual School (supporting children who are in the care system)

The responsibilities of this role are:
*Planning engaging and interesting lessons
*Delivering enthusiastic lessons to pupils
*Differentiating lesson plans to accommodate for all pupils needs
*Tracking pupil progress and using that to update lesson plans depending on successes and weaknesses

The requirements for the role are:
*Experience working as a teacher
*A teaching qualification
*A DBS on the update service
*A dedication to providing pupils with an exceptional learning experience
