Job Title: Receptionist / Administrator

Location: Poole

Salary: £16,500 £20,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent (8:30 am 5:30 pm, Monday Friday)

The Company are a specialist in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning ventilation systems for over 25 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.

They have a wealth of experience installing and commissioning ventilation systems in industrial, commercial and residential buildings.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors by greeting them in person, or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring log book; issuing visitor badges
  • Printing & stamping all incoming invoices and statements
  • Providing tea and coffee to the Directors and Conference Room
  • Managing the inventory in the stores cupboard which includes PPE, Stationary and Refreshments
  • To be available to cover leave
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The Candidate:

The Company is seeking an experienced receptionist / administrator to support their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a busy phone system and will be presentable and personable when greeting their visitors.

Experience of working within a team, as well as independently, in a very busy office environment is required.

In order to be successful for this role, the following is required:

  • Previous experience in a busy reception
  • A good phone manner with strong communication skills
  • A calm disposition with the ability to handle difficult situations discreetly and constructively
