A mobile Working Supervisor (Multi Skilled) working on behalf of Mitie Engineering Services (Dedicated Contracts Team) has become available, one our clients Key Properties covering the Midlands area: Worcester - Solihull.

Job Description

  • To assist the Facilities Manager/ Technical Services/ Regional Technical Manager with the day to day running of the contract’s Technical Services specification
  • To ensure we undertake the maintenance and repair of the Buildings Engineering Services, including fabric tasks of buildings, as required under the current contract
  • To generate and effectively manage additional works, including PPM remedials
  • To ensure that all sites are set up to the correct standard required to pass site inspections and audit (internal and external) in line with agreed contract
  • Work with the teams to ensure we carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports
  • Support Technical Services/ Regional Technical Manager by carrying out the Supervisory role within the site/mobile team
  • Lead the team and be the Supervisory point of contact in the absence of the Technical Services/ Regional Technical Manager
  • Work with Compliance Manager and the Service Desk Coordinators to ensure scheduling and planning of all works across the site are done in advance, organised and liaised with the Site Facilities Managers
  • Work closely and collaboratively with all Mitie teams (One Mitie) to ensure proactivity to enhanced customer service
  • Ensure we carry out all PPM, Reactive and Emergency tasks and complete the associated paperwork
  • Assist in ensuring that all contractual and statutory certification is in place - received, checked and logged within the required timescales
  • Ensure the team are working efficiently and manage the PDA workflow to support
  • Ensure the team are correctly completing their Timesheets weekly to Regional Technical Manager/ Head of Technical
  • To ensure correct asset capture and frequencies in line with the contract and legislation
  • Assist other team members when required or as directed from Technical Services/ Regional Technical Manager / Head of Technical
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales - be knowledgeable of contract priorities and KSL’s
  • Ensure we are working to the Mitie Management of Sub Contractor processes for all sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety, issue of appropriate Permits, controlling small works
  • Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio
  • Available for weekend planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Providing annual leave cover for colleagues and call-out cover to maintain business continuity.
  • All duties carried out in accordance with Mitie’s policies and procedures
  • To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time
  • To ensure all works are carried out in a safe and diligent manner
  • To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
  • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level III or equivalent in relevant Building Services Engineering disciplines
  • Experience of supervision, maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of fixed assets and public health systems, including but not limited to:
  • LTHW boiler plant, HVAC equipment, CWST, pump sets, standby generators, LV/ HV switchgear, cabling,
  • Batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, safe working practices and CDM
  • Professional and client facing always

Qualifications
