About the role

You will provide a customer orientated accounting service to Housing Operations with responsibility to maintain strong financial control over the Home Ownership service charge production, sinking fund models, revenue accounts and KPI reporting.

You will be required to work closely with the Head of Region to ensure consistent delivery across all locations and engage with their managers and customers to support delivery on quality budgets, forecasts and audited annual accounts for up to 200 locations through the UK.

You will be responsible for the quarterly budget and forecasting cycles and lead on financial systems, development and implementation of guidance, training and support to operations.

About you

You will have sector specific experience or delivery of a similar complex finance service and you will be either qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience but looking to actively study. You will have held similar role in partnering or commercial finance and have previous line management experience .

You will have excellent IT skills including an in-depth understanding of accounting systems and Management Information with the ability to understand the organisation and its business including legislation of the Housing Sector.

You will be a strong communicator, in both the written and verbal sense with excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative. You will be a personable creative thinker who is able to build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders of all levels.

You will be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity when supporting projects and working with risk and associated mitigating factors.
