Procurement Coordinator-Hull- Up to £26,000 pa plus benefits
Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a large family business to recruit an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join the procurement team on a full-time permanent basis.
Procurement Coordinator Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maintaining inventory, verifying the current inventory, and keeping the inhouse database up to date across multiple sites
Schedule purchases and arrivals with suppliers
Review and place purchase orders
Maintain a database of approved vendors and update information as necessary
Work to establish a solid relationship with suppliers implementing new ideas and meeting deadlines head on
Work on custom projects to agree on design and come in on budget
On a weekly basis you will attend meetings with account managers to make sure that everyone is fully up to date on communications and the requirements of customers
Visit suppliers to keep lines of communication open with all new Skills & Experience:
Previous experience of working within a procurement role is essential
Good IT skills with Microsoft Outlook package including Excel
Knowledge of working with an ERP system
Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Own transport is Return You Will Receive:
Salary up to £26,000pa
