A great mission-driven organisation based in Kent are recruiting for a Business Intelligence (BI) Business Partner to be directly responsible for providing high quality, professional, and efficient Business Intelligence analysis throughout the organisation and externally.

You will be reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence and developing business partner relationships across the organisation to create and implement a responsive and efficient information service.

Your role will involve development and implementation of comprehensible communication tools and techniques t ensure that complex data information is understood by a range of non-specialist audiences.

You'll also work closely with the Data Warehouse and Development Manager to deliver a first class Business Intelligence (BI) service ensuring reporting requirements are met and that reporting solutions are fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

Lead on the design and delivery of reporting programmes, aligned with corporate strategies and directorate/team objectives
Support the Business Insight Manager and team to develop an organisational reporting strategy and implementation plan
Identify the root causes of data quality issues and lead in the development of solutions
Develop and implement comprehensible communication tools and techniques to ensure that complex data information is understood by a range of non-specialist audiences, including external stakeholders
Resolve highly complex information problems and provide expert guidance when required for team colleagues and stakeholders
Contribute to and influence the evaluation of current information management processes, make recommendations, and develop more effective systems
Lead on the business intelligence agenda, interpreting regulatory, contractual and local requirements for information and developing suitable delivery systems
Assist the Business Insight Manager to develop and embed a long term Business Insight and Data Quality strategy
Support the development of data architecture to ensure relevant data is accurately captured and processed
Interrogate and analyse a range of data sets, using Business Insight products as appropriate to deliver insight and intelligence to management What do you need for the role?

Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, SSRS, and Power BI
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
Be able to challenge systems and process effectively to improve quality and performance
Excellent interpersonal skills, self motivated, and conscientious
