Sales Executive, Peacehaven, East Sussex, £25k plus comm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join an established company that has been trading since 1997 and has now become a global force within the retail and shopfitting industry.

Working alongside the Sales Director, you will be responsible for sourcing & qualifying leads, generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, actively seeking out all business opportunities and closing business over the telephone.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hungry, ambitious and have the ability to work under pressure, able to use own initiative with a pro-active approach for day to day tasks. You will be of strong character & personality, computer literate with MS Office and CRM systems. Most importantly you will have the focus and desire to move the business forward at all times.

The experience required for the Sales Executive are as follows:

* This outbound sales role focuses on lead-generation and key-account management

* You will be expected to create new accounts which will become part of your portfolio.

* Provide key-account management services for your own group of clients by acting as their central contact, consultant and problem solver

* Practice an outward-reaching sales approach by phone & email.

* Represent the best image of the company at meetings with clients, at exhibitions, industry events, networking events

* Take an active interest in the industry’s requirements and improve product knowledge and competence on an ongoing basis

* Generate quotations and enter orders on Sage

The skills required for the Sales Executive are:

* Warm and engaging personality with strong negotiating and closing skills.

* Previous telesales experience ideally in a Business-to-Business sales environment (desirable)

* Previous experience in selling to the NHS and Healthcare sector (desirable)

* Highly motivated and passionate about sales and sourcing new business.

* Professional telephone manner

* Methodical and organised ways of working. Able to work autonomously and manage workload appropriately

* Resilient, determined, and confident on negotiating with customers

* Enthusiasm to exceed monthly sales targets
