It is data-led and produced independently each year to cast a light on where progress has been made and identify where challenges remain. The report aims to inspire governments, civil society and private stakeholders to act to end malnutrition in all its forms. It also plays the important role of helping hold stakeholders to account on the commitments they have made towards tackling malnutrition. You’re going to be playing a key role in the delivery of this incredible report, developing the content that makes it stand out and ensuring that it makes an impact and a difference to global poverty and nutrition levels. Your Role As a Senior Global Nutrition Policy Analyst, you will support the Senior Project Manager and ensure that Development Initiatives delivers the Global Nutrition Report. Specifically, you will be tasked with developing the content for the report in conjunction with a range of stakeholders, including the Independent Expert Group (IEG) and the Stakeholder Group (SG). You’re going to be acting as the subject matter expert for the report, developing relevant content and delivering a ground-breaking report under the direction of the steering groups and the Senior Project Manager. Specifically, you will: - Support the IEG in research and content development - Write the report under the guidance of the IEG - Act as the main point of contact for the SG - Represent the Global Nutrition Report at external meetings, conferences and summits - Meet with stakeholders, the Stakeholder Group and the Independent Expert Group About You To be considered as the Senior Global Nutrition Policy Analyst, you will need: - Significant previous experience working in international development, specifically developing policies around nutrition and poverty-related issues - Experience of lead authorship, evidenced in published work - Experience delivering programmes at the national or subnational level - A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as International Development, Nutrition, Social Policy or similar Other organisations may call this role Senior Policy Analyst, International Development Analyst, Senior Policy Advisor, Development Policy Advisor, Nutrition Policy Advisor, Senior Nutritionist, Head of Nutrition Policy, Nutrition Policy Manager, Global Health Advisor, or Global Wellness Advisor.
