This is an initial 6month contract, paying up to £490/Day outside IR35. You will report to the Head of Enterprise Architecture/Senior Solution Architect, the role of Solutions Architect offers an exciting opportunity for an established IT professional to make their mark in an Agency that is going through a determined process of transformation and is embracing the Government Digital agenda. This role is outside IR35. Person Specification: IT specialist with complementary business skills and commercial acumen. Ability to understand business problems and define effective service and technical solutions. Knowledge of industry recognised service management frameworks (in particular ITIL). Understanding of Agile methodologies (RUP, TDD, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.) Provides design leadership, can identify technical and project risks and design mitigating solutions.
