About the Class 1 and Class 2 drivers: There are several driver roles available within the Company based at their Pontefract depot, for both Class 1 and Class 2 drivers. They are looking for experienced drivers to join their Industrial Services division where you will be responsible for uplifting, transporting and disposing of bulk industrial waste ranging from waste water, chemical bi-products, acidic and alkali liquids, Sludge's and powder's. Your will work under the authority of the Operations Manager as an ambassador for the company and therefore treat clients courteously and respectfully and ensure that their requirements are complied with, where safe to do so. They expect you to comply with all Traffic Laws and Tachograph Legislation. You will also be required to undertake the necessary daily vehicle and safety checks alongside carrying out duties according to the schedule and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and handed in daily/weekly along with all other Vehicle Defect sheets and fuel receipts and various other tasks as required by the Operations Manager. About you as the Class 1 and Class 2 driver: To apply for the role of LGV Driver either an LGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence, a Tacho card and CPC qualification. Experience in the waste industry and an ADR licence are desirable for this role but you must be Health & Safety conscious. We are looking for people with excellent customer facing skills. You will be interacting with the public on a daily basis and will have the ability to work under your own initiative. You will be working 5 days out of 6 between Monday and Saturday between the hours of 7am and 9pm. This role will involve working in prepaid venues across the UK, Signing up the general public to payment plan using the latest technology which is provided for you. This can involve travelling up to 75 miles from home from time to time however all travel cost is reimbursed to yourself.
