My client design and manufacture a range of electronic / electromechanical devices and systems they are used in safety critical environments all over the world. Due to expansion they currently require a Certification Engineer ElectroMech to join their R&D team. This is a standalone role supporting the engineering department with approval / compliance issues. Full training will be given in relation to their particular industry standards etc. Scope of the job: The Certification Engineer will be responsible for achieving and maintaining product certifications and approvals for these products. This means that the Certification Engineer must not only be actively involved in New Product Development, be also keep abreast of the changing approvals landscape to make sure that our products are approved to the latest standards. Job Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer Location: Nottingham Salary: £50K - £55K About Us As a result of strategic business expansion my client is looking to make a senior appointment and keen to speak to highly experienced Civil Engineers with highways design and development planning experience to play a lead role in both highway design, project delivery and project portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Working predominantly private sector, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing the strategy for expanding the Highways Design capabilities/team/business from both a commercial and technical perspective. This will involve bidding and developing new project workloads both with existing clients and their own network of contacts, whilst at the same time leading on the delivery of design projects. As workloads grow it is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand the technical team around themselves. Qualifications/Skills: 1. Chartered (or working towards) Civil Engineer, experienced in the preparation of highway design and specification, and managing projects from inception to completion, including planning, detailed design and delivery of works through S38/S278 Agreements. 2. Significant experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civils3D and / or MX 3. A capable communicator experienced within a client facing role, and capable of delivering projects to a defined brief within timescale, budget and risk constraints. 4. An established network of contacts and clients within both the private and public sector, including developers, contractors, local authorities and regulatory bodies. 5. A proven track record of work winning, and the ability to undertake business development activities to grow the highway design team 6.
