Our client carry out a variety of construction contracts, ranging in value from £1000 up to £250,000, for an ever increasing spectrum of clients. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working alongside the Contract Delivery Team to ensure the cost management, profitability, contractual control and cash management of all schemes. It is envisaged that the successful Quantity Surveyor will hold a relevant degree, or equivalent, and have previous experience working in a similar role. A strong grasp of the core Quantity Surveying disciplines is important as the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running. A good level of computer literacy will also be important, as will excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Quantity Surveyor Position Overview Issue subcontract tender packages and evaluate tender returns. Attend post tender and precontract meetings. Review contract documents to ensure that the company is protected from onerous terms and conditions.
