Spearhead's extensive product range has developed through years of innovation within the mowing and mulching sector. Traditional and core business is centred around the maintenance of green areas with a full range of reach, flail and rotary mowers within the product offering providing viable solutions for the agricultural, ground care and municipal professional. Due to further expansion of its activities coupled with exciting future growth plans Spearhead is seeking a European Sales Manager to develop and grow its business interests within Central and Eastern Europe. The European Sales Manager Role The European Sales Manager will be responsible for developing Spearhead business within Central and Eastern Europe. Key Responsibilities of the European Sales Manager Creation of a strong European Distribution Network incorporating existing high performing contacts or establishing new contacts where necessary. High level interaction with Municipal, Governmental, Waterways, Rail, Aviation and other similar agencies. Assist communications between key customers and other business functions, such as Marketing, Service, Parts, Engineering, etc. Provide clear forecasts and sales plans for all key markets to support higher level company planning. Contribute towards the creation of specific marketing material including brochures, data sheets, website and other marketing material. Identification of further growth areas for the company within key areas of responsibility including product and new market development. Regular transaction of sales at all business levels. Management of business in the region of circa £4 million turnover initially with a view to growing this to +£8 million within three years. The Ideal European Sales Manager will need the following Education and Experience Must be able to speak Fluent German Familiar within a Sales target driven environment Demonstrable experience of selling agricultural, ground care or plant machinery within the European market. Confident presentation, promotion and demonstration of Machinery. Possesses sound knowledge of the machinery sector in Central Europe, particularly Germany. Must have some technical experience and be capable of in-field problem solving where necessary. Linguistic skills including German are advantageous but not essential.
