Service Engineer required for our client, a specialist in the design, installation, service, maintenance and repair of cooling and heating solutions in the HVAC & Renewable Energy sector. They are currently seeking an Engineer with good experience working on Air Conditioning and Heat Pump systems to join their Service department. The Service Engineer will be covering a patch within a 30 mile radius of their head offices near Kettering, performing Service, Maintenance, Repair and Breakdown works on Air Conditioning and Air Source Heat Pump systems in a mixture of Domestic and Commercial Settings. On the commercial side, sites tend to be Offices, Car Show rooms and a minimal amount of retail and the additional Domestic side tending to be high end Residential properties. Engineers will cover roughly a 50/50 split of both. Ideally, candidate will have both Air Conditioning and Heat Pump experience, however, Air Conditioning engineers who wish to train and learn the Heat Pump side will also be accepted. The Design Engineer will be joining the expanding Civil and Drainage division so a background in road and drainage design and external works design is essential. Would you like to finish at midday on Friday?! Are you a Production Assembler looking to work for a thriving, innovative and award winning company based in Wellingborough? With experience of working on an assembly production line in a technology production/manufacturing company this could be the role for you! This is a permanent position paying £9 9.80/hr, 40 hours/week plus overtime, quarterly bonus and benefits including a 12 Noon finish on Friday! As Production Assembler you will be working as part of a team of assemblers, using a variety of production assembly tools and processes to assemble, test and inspect mass flow instrumentation to exacting standards. You will assist in the development of new production methods as well assist in the maintenance of assembly documentation. Main duties could include Crimping, Wiring, Soldering, Shot Blasting, Pressure Testing, HiPot testing and Helium Leak Detection. You will perform TPM and preventative maintenance on equipment and fixtures. With a minimum 2 years experience working in an assembly related position and a keen interest in Engineering, you will have basic IT skills with experience of reading manufacturing drawings/work instructions. Experience of assembling electronic precision components would be advantageous but is not essential. A formal soldering/ electrical engineering certificate would be useful but not essential. You will be self motivated, have good interpersonal skills and be able to work accurately to tight deadlines.
