A leading Finance company are seeking a highly motivated SOC Analyst to join their team! This is a critical role that will involve working closely with project teams to understand proposed solutions, indentify risk and define security requirments. This role will also involve working with the security team to assist in managing day to day security operations, implementing new security systems, responding to security queries across the buisness and assisting with incident response. Looking for individuals with experience with the following: Good knowledge of the current threat landscape and latest defence techniques. Good understanding of information security concepts and principles. Good understanding of PCI-DSS requirements. Good knowledge of security from the perspective of securing servers, workstations, network infrastructure, web applications, architecture and access management. You'll be expected to be able to demonstrate that you have experience analysing solution designs and assessing the most important security controls, as well as having a good understanding of the risk of not having certain security controls in place. Your role involve working with teams of security and technical specialists to ensure quality delivery of security services. As a member of the SOC team you will provide technical resolution for security incidents and SOC service requests by conducting host and network analysis, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations. You will also be responsible of leading threat hunting missions. The idea candidate will have had at least 3 years' experience within a SOC environment as well as the following.
