The Role: The Infrastructure Analyst role is to ensure the serviceability, availability, suitability and performance of IT infrastructure systems and services. Following Group IT governance policies and processes, you will build, upgrade, patch, monitor and support Pennon's infrastructure services. You will ensure data is maintained secure and with appropriate continuity and appropriate levels of all documentation and records are maintained. The Infrastructure Analyst will deal with incident, problem, service, release and change requests, escalating issues where necessary to maintain SLA expectations and ensuring a good user experience by using appropriate support, diagnostic, configuration and service management tools. Additionally, the Infrastructure Analyst will provide face to face support and engagement to our peers, employees and third-party suppliers. The ideal Infrastructure Analyst: Familiarity of ITIL and PRINCE2 project governance or equivalent Extensive and broad-based IT and business experience, delivering diverse corporate and operational IT services in a medium / large organisation Experience and expert knowledge of leading technologies and standards across servers, clients and networks Takes personal responsibility to keep their IT governance and technical skills up to date Ideally, an ITIL foundation certificate in IT Service Management and Relevant ICS qualifications Water utility and waste management sector knowledge is desirable.
