The main focus of the role is to assist with the provision of a catering service within Cheadle Royal with particular emphasis on the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals. As part of the catering team you will ensure that the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards. All Chefs are required to supervise catering staff ensuring their quality of work. Take full shift responsibility for the catering operation in the absence of the Head Chef, assisting in the research and creation of new menus. Applicants will have at least two year's experience of working within a professional kitchen; an NVQ2 or equivalent or qualified by experience in catering together with a basic qualification in food hygiene.
