This is a dual kitchen role where your main responsibilities and duties are to support awesome Guest, Celebrity and Michelin Star Chefs during their cookery workshops. Key Features of the Role: As a Chef de Partie, you will have dual role responsibilities; Mainly you will be assisting Celebrity Chefs, Master Chefs and Food Connoisseur's and experts during their unique cookery workshop events, over a set day period You will work as part of a support team under the guidance and tutelage of Executive, Guest, Famous and World Renown Chefs and food experts. Working 3.5 days a week, 50-55 hours during these unique cookery workshop events, giving you the rest of the week off. Takes full shift responsibility for the catering operation (in the absence of the Head Chef). 3. I am looking for a STRONG cook/ chef for a private school in a Contract Catering environment in the outskirts of YORK The Role involves; Catering for up to 500 people daily with a strong brigade Responsible for supporting the team in all areas of the kitchen Building and developing great relationships with our students and client Being empathetic to the surroundings Cooking breakfast, lunch and evening meals Excellent customer service and operational skills You will have; Solid experience within the catering industry NVQ Level 1/2 in food preparation or an equivalent Initiative and drive A hands on attitude Passion Commitment Honesty Strong cooking skills Current DBS (or happy to apply for 1) A willingness to progress to Head Chef level In return you can expect a competitive rate of pay dependant on experience. After passing your 6 moths probation you will receive 27 days holiday PLUS Bank Holidays (excluding the 1st May bank holiday). Working with a team of Catering Assistants, the successful candidate will assist with the provision of the catering service with particular emphasis on the planning, preparation and cooking of meals.
