Building Control Surveyor An exciting opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join a highly established, multidisciplined independent consultancy in London. They provide a range of services for a variety of sectors, such as transport (Airports and Railway), residential and commercial. The Company The Building Control Surveyor will join a growing and successful consultancy who have won several major development projects. They provide a range of consultancy services including Structural Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Party Wall Surveyors, Expert Witness and Health & Safety consultancy for Contractors, Construction Clients, Developers and Building Owners. Professional and highly regarded, they are committed to high quality service and customer satisfaction. They ensure their clients are provided with clear and honest advice, making sure that developments are built to the highest quality of safety whilst maintaining creativeness. The Role The Building Control Surveyor will be responsible for delivering full building regulation approval services. Your duties will include: Checking plans Conducting site inspections Attending project/client meetings Preparing detailed reports Liaising with projects and statutory authorities Reporting on projects approval progress The Person The successful Building Control Surveyor will be able to demonstrate relevant industry experience and will: Have at least 2 years of experience in the UK Be a member of RICS or CABE (or working towards) Sound knowledge of Building Control Legislation This role will suit a Building Control Surveyor who is Chartered or working their way to this status soon.
