My client is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who are looking for someone to act as Project Surveyor on a range of projects from inception to completion. You will have the support of other team members who will be assisting in delivering project works on behalf of both public and private clients. You will be involved in delivering full Building Surveying services Inc: refurbishment and regeneration projects, condition surveys, party walls and dilapidations. To apply for this role you must be degree qualified in Building Surveying or a similar relevant subject and be MRICS qualified or due to become chartered in 2016. You will have excellent core building surveying and project management skills on a range of project values with an excellent track record of managing programmes of work. Ideally, you will be prior experience of working on public sector housing and education projects and have commercial experience. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include: - Managing all projects to ensure quality and timeliness of service provided to clients - Liaise with other consultants, internal and external, to ensure fully integrated production of documentation for projects - Liaise with all necessary authorities in relation to building regulations, planning applications, listen building applications and monitor and deal with as necessary - Mentoring and management of junior team members - Market company services to new and existing clients in order to increase workload and work with marketing to ensure maximum coverage and effect
