Experience in training isn't as important as your knowledge and 'presence' in this role, as we know that people who are passionate about what they do can naturally teach other people. You'll be joining a global business who has worked with nearly 100,000 students worldwide giving them the Fast IT and Project Management skills needed to take their own careers to the next level. There are training centres around Europe. This role is based in amazing offices in St Neots. There are on-site residence suites, restaurants ad cafés and a lovely town centre nearby. The courses are usually delivered over 7 to 10 days straight so you'll be with your students for all of this time - mixing between classroom training and allowing the students to self- learn and discover, remaining on site to assist and support as necessary. Content is already prepared but you can always help with any content changes as things get updated. They are on the lookout for a Lead Data Engineer to join their data team on a permanent basis and the plan would be to add three more junior staff to the team over the next twelve months. You'll have the opportunity to build and improve a world class data platform to shape the future of what's possible with their data. Lead Data Engineer - role and responsibilities: Owning the packaging and build of the data processing code into a container When external resources are required, optimize use of these resources Use the AWS ELK stack to monitor logging. Understand what jobs have failed and why. Re-run jobs and /or liaise with the development team as required. Designing and building a Python feature extraction library for the data. Running this library in the DAG and persisting results into SQL.
