A rapidly expanding Bespoke Kitchen Manufacturing Business based in Swindon, Wiltshire seeks a Driver and Workshop Assistant. Candidates must have a clean driving licence and be prepared to fulfil the driving and delivery elements of the role whilst assisting the Workshop team with essential day to day support. Hourly rate - every aspect of our clients business affects their clients, therefore they are looking to hire a flexible, intelligent and hard working person that will be a key member of the team. Therefore the hourly rate (expected to be between £8 and £10 per hour) will reflect the experience and quality of the successful candidate. Duties: Maintain a first class, clean and presentable appearance of themselves and the vehicle. Vehicle(s) to be cleaned inside and out once a week. Oil, water, tyres, washer fluids and basic maintenance on vehicles. Following the reporting process for accidents or damage to vehicles. Liaise with Office manager 're vehicle records, maintenance and care. Delivering and collecting finished kitchens and materials. Wrapping finished kitchens carefully in line with company procedure. Diligently loading and unloading products to minimise potential damage., in line with Company procedure. Liaise with Workshop Manager and Office Manager regarding packing stock levels. Researching of delivery addresses, parking fees, site access, and additional labour as required. Removing waste from site, sorting into burnable material, metal recycling and skip waste. Skills & Experience: Respectful and polite attitude to other road users. Good time keeping and being polite are essential. Must be able to deal with customers in a polite, professional, happy manor. Physically fit as lifting is a central part of this role (within H&S guidelines) Be an adaptable, flexible employee that is prepared to help the company in any way they can. Be able to carry out a basic site survey, for access and site storage. Must be able to work as part of a rapidly growing business and team. Must be able to work and carry out tasks from instruction and think on their own. Working outside normal hours will be required at times.
