SERVICE ENGINEER Chiller Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer / Cooling Engineer Salary: £30,000 £40,000 per annum + company vehicle + overtime + oncall allowance + pension. Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire and nationwide. Hours: 37.5 hours per week + on call rota An experienced Chiller Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer / Cooling Engineer is required for this leading specialist provider of Data Centre services to the corporate market place to further augment its high quality customer engineering support service. Key Duties: The successful Chiller Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer / Cooling Engineer will have extensive knowledge of cooling and chiller systems utilised in the Data Centre industry. Possess relevant qualifications related to the handling and administering of refrigerant gases. You will be responsible for the effective maintenance, repair and emergency response actions for chillers and cooling systems and the provision of infrastructure support services to clients. Experience of fault finding and corrective actions along with the ability to work on an emergency call out basis will also be important General knowledge of the general electrical systems used in Data Centre management. The position will cover planned and reactive works, predominately service, maintenance, fault finding and breakdowns. Planned and reactive service, maintenance and breakdown tasks. Installation / commissioning of new and replacement units. Service, Maintain and Repair Air Conditioning, HVAC Systems, Chillers and Refrigeration systems. Provide technical reports on all work carried out. Able to provide new installation information, carry out surveys, and take off drawings. Ability to take a hand to any new task given and run own projects and allocated jobs Monitoring system performance for indications of refrigerant leakage, understanding of environmental impact of F gases in line with latest policies. Knowledge of key components and risk of leakage associated with them. Key Skills: Qualified to HNC level in Airconditioning / Chillers / Refrigeration / HVAC / M&E level. Suitable and demonstrable experience servicing and maintaining cooling / chiller systems. Previous experience of Split systems, VRVs, chillers, AHUs is essential. Possessing knowledge of mechanical & electrical / M&E / building services will be an advantage. Hold a current Cat 1 FGas Certificate or Safe Handling Certificate essential. CSCS Card. NVQ Level 2 onwards within Air Conditioning & Refrigeration advantageous. Working and running own projects and as part of a team. A thorough understanding of the large industrial chiller units used in these applications will be advantageous although full product training will be provided for the right candidate.
