An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client, are currently seeking an FMCG Project Planner based in Purfleet, Essex (RM19). This is a full time temporary role for a period of 9 months, working a 40 hour week. This role is paying £35,994 per annum and will start JULY 2018. Main Purpose Responsible for managing packaging changes to ensure: Availability of new packaging on time and in full Onshelf delivery of New Product Development, promotions & other artwork design changes Minimizing risk of obsolete RM & PM through material affectivity date management Leadership and coordination of any projects on behalf of Planning Team Provide cover for Shortterm Inbound Flow Planner Customer Service and Supply Planning Manager Main Accountabilities: New Packaging Designs Represent Purfleet at meetings. Manage meeting output with material planners Generates &/or validates artwork briefs Approves new packaging artwork to be used at the factory Monitors (& chases) artwork approvals to ensure ontime release for printing Key point of contact for information on material and artwork changes New Design Data Administration Works with Ops team for creation of new codes Maintains Material Master data for new part codes in SAP Responsible for ensuring data accuracy and integrity across planning systems Responsible for label ordering for tubs and lids. Supplier Management Drives improvements to enable flawless execution of new design changes Responsible for material design change information at supplier contact meetings Obsolete Management Responsible for coordinating the optimum effective date change for new packaging materials based on obsolete, inventory and service targets Responsiveness and Risk Management Proactive and early identification of supply risks leads Lead issue resolution and supply risk communication with customers. Work closely with site and supply chain partners to ensure impact, mitigation and root cause are understood with lessons learnt applied.
