Main Responsibilities: ·Provide technical support for issues which have been escalated by the Finance IT Systems Servicedesk Technicians ·Providing user support for all finance IT systems alongside the servicedesk technicians as and when required. ·Management of the Finance IT Servicedesk ·Production of Finance IT Servicedesk Reports and KPI documents ·Monthly reviews of the reports and KPI documents with the Finance IT Systems Manager ·Enforcing of the change request procedure ·Assisting with the correction of any imbalances identified from Integrity reports ·Creation of change request documentation for any system changes ·Amendments to existing application versions ·Testing of application amendments ·System configuration ·Creation, amending and testing of reports (including the production of documentation) ·During periods of holidays/sickness, provide cover for Finance IT Systems Servicedesk Technicians ·Occasional out of hours work subject to business needs ·System Housekeeping ·Supervising of staff ·Day to day management of the systems security ·Assisting with the production of audit documentation ·Interrogation of system issues ·Reviewing of system logs ·Liaising between IT and 3rd party consultants to carry out changes ·Planning and documenting project work ·Continuous improvement of processes and associated documentation · Management of 3rd party support contracts Salary- Competitive Monday- Friday 9:00am -5:00pm Knowledge, skills and experience required: ·Familiarity with financial software is desirable /JDE experience essential ·Previous experience of working in an IT capacity is essential ·Finance experience is desirable ·Excellent customer service skills ·Experience of managing staff ·Familiarity of a service desk environment is desirable ·GSCE Maths and English grade A-C ·Finance or IT qualifications would be desirable Technical skills and behavioural competencies: ·The ability to learn quickly. ·Have a can-do attitude to tasks given. ·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. ·A logical and analytical thought process with the ability to “think outside of the box” <span class="colour" style="color: rgb(3
