Due to these continued growth plans, Gael Force Fusion , part of the Gael Force Group, who specialise in manufacturing high-quality, maintenance-free, professional equipment for marine and freshwater environments (particularly in the fish farming and hatchery industries), is currently seeking to recruit a Graduate Product Development Engineer to be based at our Malin House offices in Dunbeg, by Oban. This role entails the continuation of new and existing product development. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to join our design team who design, develop, test and produce existing and new products as well as producing design, test and build documentation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Generate 3D models of products parts/assemblies. Convert paper-based conceptual drawings/sketches to 2D/3D CAD visuals. Generate technical construction or basic layout drawings of parts and assemblies for internal and external use. Manage drawing numbering, updates and revisions. Liaise with production, quality and sales teams. Assist in updating product user manuals for all products in line with STS. Build up technical database for all design calculations in a traceable system for Scottish Technical Standard. Assist in product damage/quality investigations inc. reporting. Product testing/reporting. Application/generation of innovative ideas in designs. Detail design work. FEA simulation of parts and assemblies. Assist in product literature/website updates technical. You'll also be responsible for sourcing freelance linguists and assigning them to projects of various language combinations on behalf of companies such as Porsche, G4S, Police Scotland, the NHS, and Standard Life Aberdeen.What you'll be doing:The Project Manager is responsible for managing translation projects from the point a client accepts a quotation through to the delivery of the requested serviceThe Project Manager will be required to select and secure the services of the most appropriate linguist for the client's project from our extensive freelancer network, ensuring consideration has been given to the needs of the client's project and ant specialist technical expertise that may be necessaryRelationship building and networking are critical to the role of a Project Manager.
