In support of continual growth, the successful Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will be joining an existing and supportive design team, carrying out a range of duties offering excellent exposure to engineering. The successful Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will degree qualified in a mechanical engineering field of study. Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview Overseeing the development of products from conceptual drawing stage right through to design for manufacture. Modelling products to client specificationsthis will require a level of client facing abilities. Creating drawings via 3D CAD packages of equipment to customer specifications. Liaising closely with other members of the design and manufacture team. Assisting the development of prototypes. Providing training to new members of the design team. Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements Degree Qualified to a minimum of a 2:1 in a mechanical engineering field of study. Previous working experience in a mechanical engineering industry would be advantageous but is in no way essential.
