We have some exciting Care Assessor posts that will suit you if youre an experienced Senior Carer, Field Care Supervisor, Care coordinator, Team Leader or similar who wants a varied and rewarding role. Working in Cambridgeshire for a charity with a great reputation in the social care field, youll be responsible for visiting people who have a care need to complete initial assessments for care services provided in the clients home, your role will be community based so youll need to be a driver with your own vehicle. On offer is a salary of £17,000 £21,500, 30p a mile fuel allowance and opprtunity to work for a brilliant charitiy who have a variety of services. The Care Assessor Role This is a varied position where no 2 days will be the same, this charity has a number of rapid response services that require assessments to be undertaken and a plan of action agreed upon quickly in order to support vulnerable cared for people to remain at home, or provide their usual family carer some assistance and support. Youll undertake assessments including medication risk assessments, MAR Charts, MCA assessments and identify community based support that the charity can provide or refer/signpost to other local services. Sometimes youll be supporting a client who has just been discharged from hospital, other time you might be helping somebody whos usually cared for by a relative but the relative has a crisis. Youll need to be able to work in a flexible way and be able to think on your feet and come up with solutions that work both in the shortterm and long term. You will also deliver care and provide support still within this role, so you need to be willing to assist vulnerable adults with personal care, dressing, assisting with mobility, assisting with using the toilet, meal preparation etc. Youll liaise with a multitude of care professionals, such as hospital staff, GPs, care coordinators, mental health teams, social workers, as well as clients families. The Successful Candidate Experience of working in a care setting is ESSENTIAL; ideally youll have worked in a community based service previously such as domiciliary care. It would be great if youve worked as a Field Care Supervisor, Care team leader, Care coordinator, Senior Care worker or similar before. Its also ESSENTIAL that you are a driver with your own car. Youll hold NVQ level 2 or 3 Youll have a common sense approach and be a good problem solver, able to think quickly on your feet and able to put into place a service that supports the person both in the short term, but also in the long term. Youll have good communication skills both verbal and written and youll be IT savvy, able to use a variety of IT based systems, such as word, outlook and internal care management systems. Interested? Due to an extensive expansion program we are currently looking to recruit two dedicated experienced qualified Dental Nurses to join our friendly dental team (The ability to Nurse and Reception will be an advantage ). We offer both NHS and Private dentistry at the Clinic however , due to our success in the delivery of excellent , high standard quality dental care ( 5 star rated on NHS choices ) demand has grown significantly and we are now also pleased to have the added facilities to enable us to provide this . The successful candidate's will benefit from on-going support ,training and development and will have the opportunity to expand their professional personal development through individual chosen courses, we also offer free CPD GDC fees and Indemnity costs will also be met by the Clinics Principle/Owner . Your role will be : - To deliver the highest level of customer service - Consistently deliver an excellent client experience - General reception duties may be required from time to time - Chair side assistance - Decontamination duties ( dedicated decon room). - Complying with HTM01-05 - Ensuring standards of CQC are met. Please note that due to high standards and expectations at our clinic , punctuality , reliability ,good self-presentation and friendliness are not mentioned as requirements as we consider them to be the bare minimum. Hours Hours of work for this role will be around 36 - 38 hrs per week worked over 4 days Monday - Friday however , this may be negotiable for more or less hours for outstanding candidates . Arrival time for the practice is 8.15am and can be up to a 6.15pm finish on certain days . Specific Skills Required - At least 2 years experience in dentistry ( GDC Registered) - Outstanding communication Skills - Customer focused , positive and enthusiastic - Ability to remain calm and professional - Strong Interpersonal skills - Knowledge of CQC processes - Knowledge of HTM 01-05 - Maintaining Stock levels of consumables - Maintaining and updating patient records. - Reception duties, face to face and over the phone. - The ability to prioritise and organise your work - Ability to work as part of a team by adhering to the set procedures - Experience of EXACT ( SOE).
