IT Planning and Performance Manager FTSE100 Financial Services Client - Sussex Coast £75,000 per annum + car allowance, bonus, pension, extensive benefits. Sitting within Group Finance, we are seeking an exceptional IT Planning and Performance Manager to manage and deliver the services that support the smooth and professional running of the department. You will ensure best practice standards, supporting processes and controls, transparency of service, performance and governance are in place and adhered to. We will expect you to be confident in the following; Manage the team in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement, so that the team's business objectives are achieved consistently. Planning - Develop and manage IT schedule of work (projects, pipeline, releases, upgrades) and produce resource availability and demand forecasting to inform when scheduling of work can practically take place. Governance and controls - Develop and maintain overarching best practice, IT governance framework and standards that span across departmental teams and provide advice on application so that it is used consistently. Audit and Risk - Manage end to end process of audits and risk management, ensure plans and actions are adhered to and corrective action is taken as required. Stakeholder and Customer Engagement - Develop and maintain communication plan and stakeholder management strategy to ensure excellent public relations, engagement and communication at the right time, designing and embedding standards and frameworks. Management information (MI)- Develop and maintain balanced scorecard metrics and production of regular MI ensuring clear articulation and illustration of exception reporting and remedial action Business planning and forecasting - Lead on business planning and ensure corrective action is taken to maintain within targets. Support the management and reconciliation and processing of invoices. Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent Prince 2, ITIL preferable or equivalent experience Knowledge Recognised, formal standards for IT control eg ITIL, SDLC, Prince2, PM3 Management Reporting - presentation and reporting, business query and intelligence tools Basic financial accounting and business planning Implementation of resource planning and reporting tools ideal Experience Experience in setting up an IT office or PMO. Strong experience IT office management, programme or project management or project portfolio management at senior level. Thorough understanding of project lifecycle with focus on software projects/ systems aligned to software development lifecycle with experience of both agile and waterfall methodologies. Strong experience in management information reporting developing balanced scorecard and illustrating MI in an engaging informative way that enable management decision making. Experience of developing, embedding and maintaining IT governance and controls, and 3 party supplier management framework. Proven resource planning and management of end to end capacity and demand resource scheduling in order to facilitate effective management of priorities/workload. Hands on experience of developing and successfully utilising a project prioritisation framework within a portfolio prioritisation context. Experience and natural flair for communication and PR experience in plain and engaging language using different and innovative media. Ability to develop, and project a positive image of the IT function and company through interpersonal, written and verbal communications to a wide range of audiences. Proven track record in partnership working with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational and change management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise. * Strong understanding of risk management and managing internal and external audits preferably within an IT environment.
