Unusual PI and litigation role in a small niche practice. In this role you will work autonomously, handling all the personal injury work coming into the firm. This will include claimant RTA, EL & PL claims at both fast and multi track level. As a Motor Claims Handler, you will manage a case load of contentious Credit Hire claims. The role is primarily concerned with mitigating losses, negotiating and controlling third party costs including credit hire. Offering a salary from £17, 500 £19, 000 (DOE) with excellent company benefits and discounts. About the role: Effectively persuade the third party to settle the claim in the most efficient way. Ensure the claim details are fully validated for potential fraud/Large Loss indicators. Convert third parties to use our network of repairers to support reduction in repair and credit hire costs. Devise handling strategies and challenge appropriate cases in order to keep third party hire costs to a minimum. Maintain a proactive approach to contain and minimise hire costs and avoid penalties and litigation. Investigate and manage claims identified as potentially fraudulent within personal authority limits.
